What is Paddy Blast?
Paddy Blast is a fungal disease affecting the leaf, neck and nodes of the paddy crop.

Several chemical Fungicides are used for controlling Paddy Blast. The Chemical fungicides have their own disadvantages like very high residual toxicity of these chemicals to man and livestock. Also rampant and uncontrolled use of chemical fungicides has resulted in developing resistance by the causal organism.
